Annotated bibliography is guide to choosing a junior and adult fiction books dealing with the Holocaust.
This blog is for adult audience including all historical fiction. I added two junior fictions reviews just to show the children’s points of view on the Holocaust.

The story begins in Berlin in 1933 when Anna and her brother Max discovered one morning that their father is missing.  Hitler might win an election and Papa fled to Prague. Family is Jewish and Papa is also well known journalist who was writing against Nazis. Hitler won an election and rest of the family join Papa in Switzerland. They stay there for few months and Papa decides to go to Paris to look for accommodation and job and take mama with him as a buyer. Anna and Max stay alone for a little while. Nazis found out about Papa when he travels and put the price on his head. Papa came back to collect them and they somehow successfully came to Paris. Max went to boys’ school and after some time Mama finds primary school for Anna. They stay in Paris for two years and decided to move to London as Papa thinks he could find job easier.
